Why it exists

Little Compass began as a daily program for one boy in the UAE who hears three languages at home. Every game had to work for him first. Now it is free for every family.

Questions parents ask

Is Little Compass free?

Yes. It is free in any web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

What ages and grades is it for?

Children from KG 1 to Grade 12. The games, questions and rewards change with the grade you choose when you create an account.

How long does it take each day?

About 10 minutes: a short adventure of 5 to 7 games, with a movement or calm-down break for younger children.

Can it help a child with a short attention span?

It was designed with short attention spans in mind: short games, one instruction at a time, a demo before every new game, and teaching after every mistake. It is practice, not treatment. If you are worried about attention, speech or learning, please talk to your paediatrician.

Which languages does it teach?

The app is in English and teaches English phonics and reading, plus beginner Arabic and Malayalam letters, numbers and words.

What happens when my child makes a mistake?

The game shows the idea behind the question, a pointer shows the right answer, and then your child tries the same question again and earns a star for fixing it.

Do I need to sign up or share personal data?

No sign-up is needed. Accounts and progress are stored only on your device. Only messages and Ideas-board posts you choose to send are stored so we can read them.

Is there something for older children?

Yes. Money Compass (money.littlecompasskids.app) teaches ages 8–14 about saving, banks, budgeting, investing, crypto safety and business, with pretend coins only.
